She is a New York State–licensed acupuncturist who takes a holistic approach to healing, using acupuncture as a primary tool to restore balance, support the body’s natural healing processes, and promote overall wellness.

Outside of a massage room, Alicia can often be found hiking or camping outside of the city, enjoying good food and small music venues with friends, or curled up with a book or her sketchbook.

Victor Cabral, LMT

With a passion for healing & wellness, Victor, a native New Yorker & Astorian is a licensed massage therapist dedicated to helping his clients achieve balance & relaxation. He believes that massage is not just a luxury, it is an essential part of maintaining overall health.

In August of 2023, Victor completed his training at Pacific College of Health & Science where he gained an integrative knowledge of eastern & western modalities. In doing so, he tailors each session to meet the unique needs of his clients using a combination of techniques from various styles to promote physical & emotional well being.

Prior to entering the world of body work, Victor worked at AHRC/Citizens Inc., a human services agency based in Nassau County, New York. There, he worked with children and adults with developmental challenges in a supportive role. During his time there, he formed close bonds with those under his care.

In his spare time, Victor enjoys collecting music, traveling, photography, and meeting people from all over the world and all walks of life. His overall view of life is to experience it wholeheartedly and take in as much of it while you still can. In turn, being able to share acquired, valuable knowledge with those around him.

Kai Yim, MSTOM, L.AC., Medical Gua Sha Practitioner

Kai is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner and holds a NY State license in Acupuncture. Since childhood, she journeyed through the natural and conventional medicine world, seeking solutions for her eczema. In her mid-twenties, she landed before a Chinese medicine herbalist, Dr. Daniel Yi, and not only found relief and a cure but also began rebuilding a loving and sincere relationship with her heritage and identity.

Kai has spent extensive time working under the supervision of seasoned practitioners: a rich apprenticeship under a full-body China-trained Gua Sha master, becoming the mentee of Dr. Dmitri Boules for electrical stimulation acupuncture and motor point therapy. The bulk of her clients seek her out for her knowledge in sports medicine, allergies and acupuncture facials.

Outside of helping patients recover in clinic, she can be found hiking dogs in the mountains or leading workshops on many things Chinese medicine and living well with the seasons. As an American-born Chinese female, the golden thread of her life has been weaving two opposing perspectives into a more functional paradigm: Eastern thought and the Western lifestyle.

Over the last fifteen years he has helped thousands of patients achieve a more balanced, pain free life.
