I entered the health field specifically to treat athletes suffering from sports injuries and to improve their performance. It’s long been a mission of mine to help as many professional and amateur athletes rehab injuries and reach their full potential using natural modalities like acupuncture, spinal alignment, and more. This mission feels all the more urgent when I ponder recent research that shows:
- Athletes/active individuals train at 70% of their body's functional capacity

This approach helps address the problems every athlete faces -- whether they know it or not. For example:
Scapular stability. Without scapular stability, your shoulders, neck, and entire upper extremity are more prone to injury.
Pelvic unleveling. At least half of the human population displays hip asymmetry. Such unleveling adds excess stress on the lower back, hips, knees, and sets us up for injury while decreasing athletic performance.
Respiration Endurance. An athlete with a hunched-over back may experience a decrease in lung capacity up to 30%. The equation is simple: Less oxygen = Bad athletic performance.
