A natural way to deal with the Big City’s mental & physical stress!
Living in New York has been a blessing for me. I moved back when I was 16 yrs old and LOVE IT. The diversity, restaurants, Times Square all have their uniqueness. But living here and trying to “make it” in the city that never sleeps can be emotionally and physically taxing. We are always on Go Go Go mode.
This increases physical and mental stress causing things like
- muscle tension
- joint stiffness
- digestive issues
- feeling years older than what we actually are
- not having energy to exercise etc.
So what is the solution? Move out? Of course not. Just some self-care for yourself should do the trick to rejuvenate, re-balance and reduce the stress your body’s going through (which is linked to a lot of health issues we face today).
I personally recommend (and get myself) a monthly massage therapy session. Massage has been shown to help with:
- digestive disorders
- insomnia related to stress
- myofascial pain syndrome
- soft tissue strains or injuries
- sports injuries
- temporomandibular joint pain (TMJD)
Beyond these benefits, some people enjoy massage because it often produces feelings of caring, comfort and connection.
Do you find that you need some re-balancing? Do you feel the need to press the reset button? Try a massage session with our exceptional therapist Cho and just for an hour pause, breath and take some time for yourself!
